The UNU-FTP and the CRFM held a regional short course on Project Cycle Management for senior fisheries officers of CRFM member states. The course was held from June 4-8 in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia,
and was attended by 25 participants representing 15 countries in the Caribbean region. The course material was based on a similar course held by the UNU-FTP in 2007, but was adopted, revised, and
delivered by collaborators from the University of Akureyri and the University of Belize.
The CRFM and the UNU-FTP are in the process of developing another short course on the subject of Leadership in Fisheries to be held later this year.
