There are six universities in Iceland, many of which cooperate directly with the UNU-FTP.
The University of Iceland is the oldest and the largest of those universities and is a formal partner in running the UNU-FTP. University of Akureyri is located in northern Iceland is also a formal partner of the UNU-FTP.
The UNU-FTP offers limited number of scholarships for post-graduate studies (MS and PhD studies) to former UNU-FTP fellows in any of the Icelandic universities.
